My training

I've taken the RNCP-registered Spa and Wellbeing Consultant course... What does all this mean? Here's the explanation!

When I was looking for a wellness massage training course, I decided to take the Intervenant Spa & Wellness course at Temana school.

There were several reasons for my decision:

  1. Temana is the school thatHélène Echeveste trained at, and she is the wonderful masseuse who made me want to become a masseuse myself.
  2. The Intervenant Spa & Wellness course is the most comprehensive and serious I've come across. I obviously wanted to take a comprehensive course that would give me all the keys I needed to take care of my clients in the best possible way.
  3. This training is registered with the RNCP, so it's recognised by the French State. Wellness massage is an unregulated activity, i.e. you're free to practise without having to have any particular training or diploma. So it's easy to set up as a wellness masseuse without any prior training.

As for me, I wanted to be able to have a diploma that was recognised and validated by the French State to support my legitimacy and my knowledge.

Extract from "France compétences" :

The Spa and Well-being Practitioner carries out protocols, spa and body maintenance rituals, non-therapeutic wellbeing techniques and traditional ancestral arts in all types of facilities.

Extract from the Temana school:

TEMANA is a partner of Santayarea formation (certifying body for the RNCP title Intervenant Spa et Bien-être) and offers sessions giving access to certification.

Take care,

Amélie
