Herbal hot-pouch

I'd like to introduce you to a new massage protocol: the herbal hot pouch massage. I tried it out in Thailand in the spring of 2023, and fell in love with the feelings of comfort and relaxation it provided to me. In this article, I lay it out for you and tell you about the creation process and the herbs used.

This massage consists of 2 parts:

  1. a massage with the oil of your choice
  2. the application of hot pouches all over the body (about 10 minutes per side).

The first part of the massage is highly personalized, allowing us to adapt the pressure and type of massage to your needs and desires.

The second part brings you deep relaxation thanks to the heat diffused by the pouches and the pleasant scent of the aromatic herbs, which I'll talk about below. The pouches are firm but not hard, so they can be applied to both muscular and bony areas, providing relief for joints too (perfect for inflammation and osteoarthritis).

These pouches are usually made from aromatic herbs found in Asia (ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, star anise, etc.). However, I decided to make the pouches myself rather than buying them already made (you won't be surprised, as I do the same thing with oily checerates). So I chose to use local aromatic herbs that can be found in France: lavender, rosemary and sage from my garden, rose petals, eucalyptus and lemon verbena. The herbs I didn't pick from my garden were bought from a [local herbalist] (https://www.achillea-boutique.fr/). All the plants are pesticide-free.

Lavender is relaxing, rosemary and sage are anti-inflammatory, verbena and eucalyptus are refreshing and support the respiratory system, and rose is soothing and softening.

The composition of the pouches may change as I try them out and receive your feedback.

Don't wait any longer to book your massage, and let me know your choice in the comments on the booking form!

See you soon!
